Thanks to hiba oil, both our face wash and moisturizer have a fresh, woody scent, somewhat similar to cedar. The oil itself is often used in Japan to relieve stress and focus the mind, but it also has anti-bacterial properties. We purchase our hiba oil from a small, local producer in Aomori, in the northern part of Japan.

Famous for its health benefits, it’s no surprise that green tea is a common skincare ingredient in Japan. Packed with antioxidants, studies have shown it slows signs of skin aging and improves complexion. We source our green tea from Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan.

Our products are blended with natural onsen (hot spring) water, which is famous in Japan for its hydrating and rejuvenating properties. We use premium skincare product grade onsen water, which is specially filtered for purity.

When sake is made, amino acids and other essential ingredients that act as moisturizers and antioxidants are created during the fermentation process. As a result, sake is extremely good for your skin. It’s also quite tasty. Sake, not your skin. Well, this is getting weird now, let’s move on!
